“In 2009 to 2010 Mr Sam started producing on FL Studio and resumed song writing but never released anything. Mr Sam also became a member of his University Choir(The Wits Choir) Early 2011 Mr Sam joined a group called Tear Music. They organized a lot of gigs and started slowly but surely creating a Hype and a Buzz in the South of Johannesburg were they were Based. They even released slideshow Videos on Youtube,one of that got nominated for an NME Awards alongside,Method man,J-Cole and a whole lot more up and coming international artists. They Split up due to misunderstandings. Mid-2011 Mr Sam joined and was part of the group e4. Being part of the group gave him a little more freedom to really express his musical abilities. They Performed at the most exclusive venues and Hot Spots in Johannesburg,that got them gaining a lot of respect and hype. Late-2011 he started his own Record Label(HQ Records) with Co-CEO of HQ Records TJ. He Spent the last 3 Months of the end of that year perfecting his producing skills and writing skills. He Produced 86 songs in 3 Months getting ready for 2012. He is also Managed by TimeLine Entertainment. He acknowledges TJ and Shakespear as his Main Mentors”.
