Nigerian Artist Ice Prince was nominated for Best International Act for BET Awards 2012 but lost out to fellow Nigerian artists Wizkid & Sarkodie. in 2013 the tables have turned and Ice Prince emerges winner of Best International Act (Africa) at the BET awards beating fellow African musicians 2face (Nigeria), Toya Delazy (South Africa), Donald (South Africa & R2Bees (Ghana).
